The German Embassy in Algeria

The client of the German Embassy and residency in Algiers, Algeria is the German state represented by the Bundesamt für Raum und Bauordnung (BBR). The task was to restore the old building and to add a new annex to it.
The challenge of this project was the smooth sequence planning. One of the challenges was the ability to fulfil the German norms and standards by importing most of the materials and products needed from Germany.
Another challenge was to send the Egyptian engineers and workers to Algiers, as the workers in Algeria did not have the knowledge which the AL HABASHI General Contracting Team has, when it comes to German standards and norms.
